Simon Poidevin

Non-Executive Director

Simon has worked in Investment Markets for 26 years, specialising in Institutional Equities and Investment Banking.  Simon began his career in the securities industry with McNall & Hordern, as a Partner in 1984.  He joined Potts West Trumbull in 1989 as a Director for Research Sales, and then Citigroup legacy firm, County Natwest in 1995. Simon spent 14 years with Citigroup and was a Managing Director and Head of Corporate Equity Broking before moving to Funds Management in April 2009 joining Pengana Capital as an Executive Director.
 
 
 
Between 1980 and 1991, Simon represented Australia in the Rugby Union, captaining the Wallabies in 1986 and 1987.  Simon was awarded an OAM in 1988, inducted into the Australian Hall of Fame in 1991 and was awarded the Centenary Medal in 2003.  He is also a board member of the UNSW Foundation and an Emeritus Member of the Ben Lexcen Management committee at the UNSW. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the University of New South Wales, a Blue in Rugby Union and is a member of both the UNSW Sporting Hall of Fame and the UNSW Faculty of Science Hall of Fame.
